White River Falls, originally uploaded by Rick in Hermiston.

The first of many falls pictures I took on this trip. 90% of them won’t see the light of day, but I do have a few that I like. Lomo effect in GIMP.

Westbound, originally uploaded by Rick in Hermiston.

Caught this guy on the Columbia River just off of I-84. I chased him for a few miles to get far enough ahead so I could get my camera out. Glad I did, too. Lomo effect in GIMP.

White River Falls Turbines HDR, originally uploaded by Rick in Hermiston.

Just got back tonight from traveling to White River Falls for the specific purpose of photographing the abandoned hydroelectric facility that’s there. Couldn’t resist processing something and uploading it before I went to bed tonight. In the coming days and weeks, I will process more, upload them, and create a set specifically from this trip.

Just for perspective, these turbines are about 9 feet in diameter.

Stonehenge HDR, originally uploaded by Rick in Hermiston.

This is a WWI memorial located in Southern Washington, just off of the Columbia River. HDR done in Qtpfsgui and further processed in GIMP.
